Job Description
As a Senior Digital Designer at The Shade Store, you will play a pivotal role in creating digital assets that showcase our luxury window treatment products and elevate our brand presence. You will be responsible for translating our brand’s aesthetic into captivating visuals for various digital channels, ensuring our online presence reflects the sophistication and quality of our offerings.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce visually appealing digital assets, including website graphics, social media visuals, email templates, and digital advertisements.
- Ensure the consistent application of brand guidelines across all digital materials, maintaining a cohesive and luxurious brand image.
- Create and edit high-quality product images, showcasing the craftsmanship and detailing of our window treatments.
- Collaborate with the web development team to enhance the user experience (UI/UX) of our website, ensuring it aligns with our brand’s aesthetic and usability standards.
- Design engaging email campaigns that drive customer engagement, click-through rates, and sales.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor strategies, using this knowledge to inform and enhance your design work.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, copywriters, and photographers, to ensure cohesive and impactful digital campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Digital Designer, preferably in the luxury or interior design industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design work, including web graphics, social media visuals, and email campaigns.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience design.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information
The Shade Store offer is contingent upon proof of legal authorization to work in the United States for The Shade Store, which will be confirmed by E-Verify within three business days of your hire date. This freelance opportunity is expected to start in January at a rate between $80-$90/per hour, flexible and commensurate with experience.
