Job Description

iCrossing is looking for a super talented Sr. UI Designer to enhance our multidisciplinary team. The candidate will have a passion for design, a mastery of Figma, and other co-design tools. A significant part of this role will be to develop and refine comprehensive design systems that serve as a foundation for designers and developers—altering our client’s digital landscapes. They should be familiar with working collaboratively, incorporating direction from team members and stakeholders, interfacing with developers, UX designers and working with copy/content writers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions shaping user experience journeys that are unforgettable and instinctive.

Requirements

  • You are a systems thinker who loves visual design, you love using Figma and know how to turn great visual designs into scalable component libraries and full-on design systems.
  • Help ensure that our design system is accessible and inclusive. Make sure that the system is usable by people with disabilities, and that it reflects our company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • An expert in design software like Figma, Adobe Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and the ability to work in MSOffice tools like PowerPoint when necessary.
  • Experience working in Design Systems.
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI design; portfolio required.
  • You are a great collaborator and expert who can inspire others with the latest UI trends and current design strategy and technology.
  • An expert in design software like Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc. (Extra points if you have Token Studio experience).
  • Should also be familiar with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and the ability to work in MSOffice tools like PowerPoint when necessary.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize design solutions for the best possible outcome.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate & collaborate effectively with others to create top-performing interfaces.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
