Job Description

The main function of a Graphic Designer is to create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. The designer should have a high level of creativity and the ability to communicate ideas to both internal and external clients. Flexibility, the ability to work well under pressure, and multitasking are also required skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems
• Collaborate with marketing leads to deliver strategic and conceptual work that supports the employer brand story, messaging, and value proposition
• Demonstrate attention to detail, review and QA creative deliverables
• Communicate the reasoning behind design proposals and concepts in alignment with brand identity and vision
• Create design solutions and systems for the implementation of recruitment marketing campaigns (digital, social, event materials, print ads, email templates, videos, and career site)
• Design and develop creative templates and presentations
• Solve UX problems by developing wireframes and prototypes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required, Bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience required
• Strong portfolio of work that illustrates design range and ability to create visual systems
• Basic ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, motion graphics, and video editing
• Basic ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
• Expertise in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Figma
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies is a plus
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

The role offers a pay rate of $35-40 per hour and is remote. It is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend or convert.
