Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Freelance Social Media Manager and Creator to develop and implement effective social media strategies for our company. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in managing various social media platforms but also skilled in content creation, community engagement, and analytics. As a freelance professional, you will have the flexibility to work remotely and collaborate with our marketing team to enhance our online presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with our goals and target audiences. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure cutting-edge strategies.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that aligns with brand identity and resonates with the target audience. Utilise tools and software to enhance content quality and creativity.
  • Platform Management: Manage and maintain various social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn) for our business. Regularly update profiles with relevant content, ensuring a consistent brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Community Engagement: Foster and grow online communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and participating in relevant discussions. Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities to enhance community engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilise analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and provide regular reports to clients. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Communicate effectively with our teams to understand their goals, provide updates, and gather feedback. Collaborate with other freelancers or team members, such as graphic designers or copywriters, to ensure cohesive and effective content.
  • Stay Updated on Social Media Trends: Stay informed about changes in algorithms, new features, and trends on various social media platforms. Recommend and implement innovative strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Proficient in content creation tools and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends is a plus.
