Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Wedding Photographer to join our team. As a Wedding Photographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing the magical moments of couples on their special day. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a deep understanding of various photography techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration:

• Conduct client consultations to understand their vision, preferences, and specific photography requirements.
• Collaborate with couples to develop a comprehensive shot list and plan for capturing their unique story.

Photography Planning and Preparation:

• Scout and familiarize yourself with wedding venues to plan optimal shooting locations.
• Ensure all photography equipment is well-maintained, charged, and ready for use.

Ceremony and Reception Coverage:

• Document key moments during wedding ceremonies, including the processional, vows, and ring exchange.
• Capture formal portraits, candid interactions, and details during the reception, including the first dance and toasts.

Pre-Wedding and Post-Wedding Shoots:

• Capture pre-wedding moments, including bridal and groom preparations, to create a comprehensive narrative.
• Conduct post-wedding shoots if desired by the clients, such as trash-the-dress sessions or day-after sessions.

Editing and Post-Processing:

• Edit and retouch images to ensure high-quality, visually stunning photographs.
• Organize and deliver the final collection of images within the agreed-upon timeframe.

Client Interaction:

• Maintain clear and open communication with clients throughout the process, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Provide sneak peeks or previews to build anticipation and excitement.

Business Development:

• Market wedding photography services through online platforms, social media, and networking.
• Build and update a portfolio showcasing your best work to attract potential clients.

Professional Development:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, photography techniques, and editing software to enhance skills.
• Attend workshops, conferences, or training sessions to continue professional development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Wedding Photographer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing wedding photography work.
• Proficient in photography equipment and editing software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for capturing special moments.

Additional Information:

Job Types: Contract, Freelance

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
