Job Description

We are seeking a suitable developer or small development team for a large-scale website development project for Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival, a cultural events charity based in Glasgow. The project involves building a new website for the festival with a deadline in the latter half of March 2024. The developer(s) should have experience with Wordpress, WP-related PHP programming, Elementor page builder, and MySQL database operations. They should be comfortable building a Wordpress site with a bespoke theme and centralised stylesheeting that covers Elementor and WP PHP-theme based templates.

Requirements

• Experienced grasp on Wordpress, WP-related PHP programming, Elementor page builder, and MySQL database operations
• Comfortable building a Wordpress site with a bespoke theme and centralised stylesheeting
• Strong understanding of website development and ability to work within proposed timeline
• Based in the UK, ideally in Scotland, due to the project’s relation to cultural activities in Glasgow
• Ability to provide an accurate quote based on the work involved
• Ability to provide an overall estimate based on an hourly rate
• Previous experience working on large-scale website development projects
