Job Description:
LoudLocal is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This part-time position offers flexible working hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals with other commitments such as childcare or studying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns for clients across various platforms
- Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities in the digital marketing landscape
- Create and schedule social media content, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages
- Write blog articles and assist in basic website design tasks
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Prepare reports and presentations for clients
- Develop skills and knowledge within the field of digital marketing
Blog Writing:
- Create engaging and informative blog posts for LoudLocal’s website and clients’ websites
- Research relevant topics, keywords, and trends
- Optimize blog posts for SEO
- Collaborate with the team to develop content calendars and maintain a consistent posting schedule
Technical Website Changes:
- Assist in making technical updates and improvements to websites
- Implement changes related to design, functionality, and user experience
- Collaborate with web developers and designers for effective execution
- Ensure changes are in line with best practices for performance and security
SEO Optimisation:
- Work on improving the SEO performance of client websites
- Conduct keyword research and analysis
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies
- Monitor and report on SEO performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Requirements:
- Prior experience is optional, but a genuine interest in building a career in digital marketing is essential
- A professional qualification in marketing is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated on industry trends
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Tools and Platforms:
We use a variety of different platforms, including Hubspot, SEMrush, Wix, WordPress, Google Business Profiles, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Marketing, and Shopify. Prior experience is not essential as training will be provided.

Additional Information:
- Schedule: Part-time, Permanent
