Job Description:

Alphanumeric is hiring a CLOUD SOFTWARE ENGINEER Lead to work in Raleigh, NC with an established stronghold in the financial and insurance industries. This is a Hybrid job - in office and remote schedule. We are seeking a full-time contractor for 6 months within the IT Cloud Engineering/Data Engineering team to perform design, installation, configuration, administration, development, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks for new Informatica Cloud (IDMC). Will be working in a processing environment that will be handling cross-platform data replication using Informatica’s Change Data Capture product. Will be supporting Enact MI’s Lender Services Modernization project. This person would also lead 1-3 additional Informatica IDMC/CDC developers during the engagement. Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience developing and deploying large data ETL processes and providing diagnostic support using Informatica technologies including PowerCenter or IDMC/IICS solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Informatica Change Data Capture (CDC) processing and data replication strategies including recovery/restart.
• Exposure to Informatica software installation, configuration, and/or administration of its metadata, security, and connectivity components.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Oracle, Amazon S3, and/or PostgreSQL data sources and targets.
• Understanding of technical documentation for data flows and mappings.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based computing, operating systems, networking, storage, and security technologies.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience converting Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC/IICS.
• Experience using mainframe data sources/targets with cross-platform data replication.
• Understanding of financial, insurance, or mortgage industry data.
