Job Description:

As an iOS Software Engineer, you will be joining one of our agile product teams and using your skills in Swift, TDD, and XCUnit to build and support new features for our business. You may also be involved in shaping new projects and supporting the professional development of less experienced Engineers. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for technology and a track record of delivering complex, performant, high-quality software.

Requirements:

• Expertise in modern Swift, TDD, XCUnit
• A structured approach to systems analysis and development
• Experience with building mobile app frameworks, Cocoapods, and SPM
• Experience with building accessible applications
• An understanding of Agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with techniques like TDD and pair programming
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery experience
• REST API consumption knowledge

Additional Skills:

• Good understanding of Microservice Architectures
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• GraphQL experience
• Application security knowledge
• Application performance optimization skills

The position is based at our John Lewis Head Office in London Victoria. We offer a blended hybrid approach to working, with the option to work from our offices as well as from a home/remote UK location.
