Job Description:

Trissential is seeking a UX Designer to join their team in Rochester, MN (Remote). The UX Designer will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and sequencing interactions with software and applications. They will work with research insights to understand user needs and deliver designs that are easy, clear, useful, and pleasing. The UX Designer will collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape products that advocate for user needs and deliver a seamless user experience. They will design for various interfaces and systems, including browsers, responsive web, native apps, smart watches, and more. Additionally, the UX Designer will create storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications, and evaluate designs according to project-specific and enterprise standards. They should have an understanding of the human-centered design process and experience working with design tools and platforms.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required
• 5-7 years of experience in design with demonstrated impact
• Understanding of the human-centered design (HCD) process
• Working knowledge of current user experience methods
• Excellent visual communication skills and the ability to clarify complex problems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confident presentation skills
• Ability to design on behalf of people with serious and complex medical conditions
• Understanding of the working methods of colleagues in experience design
• Ability to communicate clearly to project or executive teams
• Demonstrated use of an iterative design cycle method to refine products
• Experience with design tools and platforms such as Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma, Mural, and Invision
• Experience working in Scrum Agile methodology to define user stories as part of sprint planning
