Social Media Manager is needed in Bath, United Kingdom.

Client: The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa

Location: Bath, UK

Contract: Part Time

Job Description:

As our dedicated Social Media Manager, you will spearhead strategy development, content creation, and oversee our presence across social media platforms; a seamless and engaging experience is required across all channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (including Threads), LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Demonstrating a proven track record in social media management and an adept understanding of evolving trends, you will leverage your expertise to elevate our brand in the competitive hospitality industry. Your prior experience, that should include a good working knowledge of the hospitality/f&b industry, should showcase successful growth in social media engagement and followers. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our social media landscape, responsible for crafting original and compelling text and video content. Your duties extend to post management, fostering audience interaction, and maintaining a cohesive company image to achieve overarching marketing goals. As a valued team member, you will contribute to the enhancement of our online presence, ensuring a five-star standard throughout.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with the social media platforms mentioned above
  • Great communication skills in order to liaise with all departments and form relationships with influencers
  • Sound knowledge of the English language
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Solid knowledge of computers and relevant operating systems and software programs
  • A sound understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and keyword search
  • A team player with great communication skills is essential as you will be a part of a close-knit team

Weekly Tasks:

  • Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Creating captivating content for the hotel & spa’s social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts, and multimedia content
  • Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
  • Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to the brand
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring, and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, and social media posts
  • Liaising with other departments to create a holistic and effective online social media strategy
  • Produce weekly reports, outlining growth in follower numbers, engagement, etc.

Other Information:

  • Immediate start available
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • 28 days holiday pro-rata
  • 8-16 hours per week
  • (happy to consider freelance if preferred for the right candidate)
  • Reporting to the General Manager
  • Working as part of the Revenue, Sales & Marketing Team
