Job Description:
The Social Media and Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, preparing marketing strategies and plans, conducting market research, building and maintaining the nursery’s presence on social media platforms, monitoring websites and social media analytics, updating websites as necessary, planning and hosting events, writing articles and creating newsletters, presenting proposals for new marketing opportunities, and collaborating with graphic designers, photographers, and content creators.

Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required. The candidate should have at least 1 year of marketing experience and solid knowledge of website (preferably WordPress) and marketing analytics tools.
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed
- Location: Woodbridge, CT 06525
- Ability to Relocate: Woodbridge, CT 06525: Relocate before starting work
- Work Location: In person
