Job Description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our team on a part-time basis, with the flexibility to work remotely from home. This role requires proficiency in both English and Spanish languages, as you will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs and collateral for our diverse audience across different markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Design Creation: Develop visually compelling graphics and design assets for various digital and print materials, including websites, social media content, marketing materials, presentations, and more.
  • Bilingual Communication: Translate written content and messaging from English to Spanish (and vice versa) as needed, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance in both languages.
  • Conceptualization: Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and develop design concepts that resonate with our target audience and effectively communicate key messages across different language demographics.
  • Layout and Composition: Apply principles of design layout and composition to create aesthetically pleasing and impactful visuals that capture attention and convey information effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Typography and Language Integration: Select appropriate typefaces, font styles, and typography techniques to enhance readability and visual appeal, while also ensuring seamless integration of bilingual text elements within design compositions.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Maintain awareness of cultural nuances and linguistic variations between English and Spanish-speaking audiences, adapting design elements and messaging accordingly to resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds and preferences.
  • File Management: Organize and manage digital files and assets in both English and Spanish, following naming conventions and version control practices to facilitate efficient collaboration and workflow management.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback and revisions from stakeholders into design iterations, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations in both languages.
  • Deadline Management: Manage workload effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines for deliverables in both English and Spanish, maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Ability to translate and localize content accurately while maintaining consistency and clarity in messaging.
  • Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and a strong portfolio showcasing creative design work across various mediums and platforms.
  • Cultural Awareness: Awareness of cultural differences and sensitivities between English and Spanish-speaking audiences, with the ability to adapt design elements and messaging to resonate with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Creativity: Creative flair and a passion for visual storytelling, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate concepts into visually compelling designs that engage and resonate with audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to design, typography, and layout, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations in both languages.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines consistently while working remotely from home.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a remote team, communicating proactively, sharing ideas, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Additional Information

  • Type of Employment: Part-time, Freelance
  • Salary: $1,300,000 per month
  • Expected Hours: Minimum of 20 per week
