Job Description

The NFDC & NDTG Part time Graphic Design role is responsible for the quality and consistency of the brand visual for both organisations, providing creative design solutions for online and offline marketing materials. The role provides support to the Marketing function in ensuring all marketing materials meet the consistent brand visual. This role reports to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade NFDC & NDTG brand manual as required, including but not limited to, amends to logos, brand colour palette, usage rules
• Create imagery as briefed for multi-channel marketing communications
• Graphic design and layout solutions for online and offline collaterals, including but not limited to, display material, brochures, advertisements, branded merchandise/corporate gifts, signage, magazines, guidance notes
• Graphic design and display materials for internal (membership) and external (third party) events
• Publish basic content to company websites, for example: events, news posts
• Manage advertising calendar, including ownership for meeting copy deadlines and ensuring all artwork is to spec
• Maintain a central source of collaterals and manage version control of assets
• Update CRM and manage all member logos, ensuring pull through to NFDC website
• Liaison with suppliers eg getting quotes, ordering materials etc

Requirements

• Previous experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Understanding of brand guidelines and ability to adhere to them
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements and Benefits

Permanent, part-time contract in an office-based position, working from the Hemel Hempstead HQ. Ideally 25 hours per week, with flexibility on working patterns, between Monday and Friday. Salary pro rata of £28,000 per annum. Pro rata of 24 days holiday (exc. Bank holidays, inc. of days allocated for Christmas shutdown). Pension scheme.
