Job Description:

This position is a 16-month contract as a maternity leave replacement with the possibility for extension and/or permanency. The Design Team at Tefron is a diverse team of creative and strategic thinkers who are passionate about creating purpose-led products for the activewear and intimates market. In this role, you will be responsible for designing seasonal assortments, managing communication with overseas offices, and aligning needs with customer calendars. You will also be involved in trend presentations, mentoring junior designers, and participating in key meetings to drive product innovation.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years industry experience
• BA, BFA, or BS in Design, or equivalent
• Comfortable in Adobe Suites platforms
• Understanding of 3D design is an asset
• Experience and comfortable working in PLM system
• Expert knowledge of the U.S. apparel industry landscape, with focus on activewear and intimates
• Razor-sharp attention to detail
• Awareness of current styles in stores
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to innovate
• Ability to travel
