Job Description:

  • Solid proven senior developer with good OOP and design foundational working knowledge (full stack .NET) and some knowledge/experience of SALESFORCE/MULESOFT.
  • Self-starter with initiative that can do a project by themselves end to end and lead junior developers.

Project/System/Program Overview:

  • The Department of Children and Families relies on the core applications LINK and IV-E, Connecticut’s Federally-reimbursed SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System).
  • DCF Information Systems provides technology expertise and services as well as an information systems infrastructure to the agency and its employees.
  • The agency is developing the next generation Comprehensive Child Welfare information system (CCWIS).

Scope of Work:

  • The candidate will serve as a Lead Developer participating in various SDLC processes and supporting existing .NET applications.
  • The candidate will also participate in the SDLC process of the new SACWIS system and work with the System Integrator for a given module.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining interfaces, .NET applications, supporting SOA integration initiatives, and participating in the SDLC process.

Specific Services Required:

  • Must be very organized, pro-active, and self-directed.
  • Must have strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Design and development of the .NET/.NET core technology and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, midrange to client server and n tier e-commerce applications and solutions.
  • Must have working knowledge of SALESFORCE development.
  • Work on all phases of SDLC and create/maintain required technical documentation.
  • Assist in migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems to new applications and technologies.
  • Work with the Application Development Manager to establish goals and code reviews.
  • Work with management to supply input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • An experienced professional with 10 or more years of prior experience including .NET OOP & SOA, JavaScript Frameworks (EXTJS/Angular), SALESFORCE (minimum: 5 years), SQL, and End-to-End Web Development.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications: MULESOFT, API Management.
