Job Description

The Television Academy is seeking a Digital Marketing Temp to support the Marketing Team during the For Your Consideration (FYC) and Emmy Awards season. The role includes reviewing FYC event email invitations and key art, ensuring brand consistency, and assisting with social media initiatives for both the Television Academy and the Television Academy Foundation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in digital communications/marketing
• Familiarity with Email Marketing/HTML-based web software
• Working knowledge of basic HTML and content management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Familiarity with Photoshop preferred
• Strong copywriting skills
• Detail-oriented and patient approach to tasks
• Ability to follow written procedures precisely
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work well in a team and with creative individuals
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Entertainment industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with current television shows and talent
• Must reside in Los Angeles metro area

Other Information

• This is a temporary assignment from Mid-February through June 2024, working 40 hours per week.
• The salary for this role is $33 per hour.
• The Digital Marketing Temp will report to the Director of Digital Communications and Social Media Marketing, as well as the Senior Marketing Manager.
