Job Description:

Wilcox Recognition located in southern middle Tennessee is seeking energetic, creative, and friendly photographers to join our team. As a photographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photographs in various settings and environments for students, faculty & staff, athletes, teams, and groups. You will also be involved in organizing and maintaining a portfolio of images, as well as assisting with editing and retouching photos using software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Additionally, staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve your photography skills is important. Other duties may include delivering editorial content to customers and assisting in the setup and organization of photo shoots.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, but not required
• At least 1 year of photography experience preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Canon mirrorless technology
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other editing software is a plus
• Strong knowledge of photography techniques and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of a subject or scene
• Reliable, insured vehicle and U.S. driver’s license
• Willingness to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings and some evenings if needed
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to lift and operate camera equipment up to 40 lbs

Other Information:

• Part-time, seasonal position
• $20.00 per hour pay rate
• Early morning riser and ability to work varied shifts
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Work location will vary (on the road)
