Job Description

The UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, high-quality and seamless customer experiences for a variety of internal and externally facing applications. They will optimize the functional experience and design a polished and distinctive branded experience for products and applications. The UX Designer will also contribute to the design strategy for multiple digital products, leveraging data and user research, while staying up to date with modern design trends. They will collaborate with software delivery teams to inform and improve solution design and work with business stakeholders to understand business and user goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in UX design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.)
• Experience with user research methods and techniques
• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer
• Experience working within a Content Management System such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and software development practices and procedures
• Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally
• Design experience in mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration
• Insurance industry and product knowledge
