Job Description:

Golin Chicago is hiring a temporary VP Art Director. As a freelance VP Art Director, you will be a versatile and strategic creative thinker, responsible for the execution of high-quality and on-brand creative deliverables that support marketing strategies, initiatives, and goals. We are looking for someone who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to up to 40 hours per week for 2 months starting in February.

• Distill big ideas into elegant creative solutions
• Create a complete social media style guide for a brand
• Advise on style guide components, gleaned from previous experience
• Including visual identity, photography style, video style, tone guidelines, brand colors and fonts, etc.
• Ensure consistency in the organization’s or client’s creative output with the overall brand.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience with 10+ years’ experience ideally at an ad agency or inhouse creative agency preferred
• Experience creating and executing social media style guides for brands
• Ability to integrate feedback and input from multiple stakeholders
• Ability to actively collaborate on projects

Other Information:

This role is ideally located in Chicago, but we are open to considering qualified remote candidates in other locations.

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations. Hourly rate: $110 - $115 per hour.
