Job Description:

Blake Learning Solutions is looking for a hungry freelance filmmaker/editor/producer to help with a consistent flow of multimedia projects. The projects include corporate interviews, training videos, marketing videos, and scripted scenarios. The ideal candidate should bring new energy and ideas to these projects and have a passion for storytelling through video.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute film shoots for various projects
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and objectives
• Edit and produce high-quality video content aligned with client expectations and guidelines
• Select and edit footage, audio, and graphics to create compelling storytelling experiences
• Ensure projects are completed on time
• Be open to feedback and reviews from clients and directors

Requirements:

• Can-do attitude and willingness to assist with tasks in pre-production, production, and post-production
• Proven experience as a video editor and producer, with a strong portfolio and on-set production experience
• Interest in mastering new video and audio equipment
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools, with a willingness to continuously deepen skills and learn new software
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently, efficiently manage time and resources
• Must be in the DMV area and available for local film shoots, as some projects may require travel within the United States
