Job Description:
This position is primarily responsible for executing great design and content strategy on the following platforms:
- E1 Website
- Video Editing/Story Telling
- Electronic and hard copy presentations and reports
- Email and Social Media Marketing Campaigns
This role also requires an understanding of the Great Commission ministry and a heart for international missions.
Primary Job Functions:
- Word Press website graphic designer creating and maintaining website content and layout
- Proficient in social media marketing and maintenance aligning with our branding and messaging
- Brings innovation and creativity to overall marketing, website, graphics, and video presence
- Possesses a self-starting and self-motivating initiative
- Strong administrative, organizational, written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-functioning team of driven individuals
- Has attention to detail and able to meet multiple deadlines
- Team player and technically savvy with willingness to learn new things
Tactical Job Functions:
- Creates and maintains website content to attract and create awareness of Empower One
- Possesses a strong sense of urgency in website regular maintenance and functionality
- Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and skill levels
- Propensity for balancing shifting priorities with skills to address issues and anticipate how to handle challenges with little direction
- Create and maintain multiple social media marketing content programs
- Create and maintain mobile apps and event marketing programs
- Strong understanding and ability to articulate Empower One’s vision and strategy in all marketing mediums including video editing
- Works with Empower One’s staff for developing and implementation of website functionality and design
- Excellent interpersonal skills required when working with groups: personal conduct, style, and approach
Qualifications:
- BS/BA encouraged
- One-to-three years work experience working with a myriad of digital on-line marketing applications and software tools
Education and Related Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Graphic Design: 3 years required
Adobe Illustrator: 4 years required
Additional Information:
- Job Location: Remote working but must be located in Dallas/Ft Worth area
- Position Type: Part-time contract
- Travel: None
- Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
- Benefits: Flexible schedule
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
