Job Description

The development team works within Agile teams to deliver positive outcomes on a range of projects and programmes.

Projects include:

• Transforming critical applications into an Event Based Architecture using Domain Driven Design principles and cloud-based technology
• Building accessible cloud-hosted websites using the newest technologies and design patterns
• Refactoring applications
• Working on a cross-industry initiative to consolidate workplace pension information

The role involves being embedded in a development team operating within a technology change programme to support regulatory activity. The placement offers opportunities for career development and the chance to gain practical experience.

Requirements

• Student in penultimate year of study or undertaking a degree requiring a year-long placement
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate business requests into technical asks
• Knowledge of working with databases and programming languages (SQL, C#, Python or similar)
• Awareness of working with Agile values or principles
