Job Description
The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing and developing high-performing, responsive, and interactive web applications. They will ensure high development standards, especially for code quality, code security, code reviews, and unit testing. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Angular 8+ and a thorough understanding of its core principles. They should also have knowledge of multiple front-end languages, frameworks, and their libraries, as well as experience in writing efficient JavaScript code using HTML and CSS. Other responsibilities include debugging, troubleshooting issues with front-end code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in frontend development
- Experience in Angular 8+
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, frameworks, and libraries
- Strong debugging skills
- Experience with Rest APIs
- Experience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine
- Experience with SCMs like GIT and tools like JIRA
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and delivery
- Excellent understanding of web application threats and vulnerabilities
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Relocation: Must be able to relocate across the Midwest United States region (Local Candidates from MO, NE, ND, SD, IA, OH, MN, WI, KS, IL, IN, MI are highly preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.47 - $75.00 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road
