Job Description

Red Sun Media, producers of the television show Out n About Columbus on ABC 6, is seeking a talented freelance Videographer/Editor to complete our team. As the Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for shooting show segments and TV commercials each week, utilizing your expertise in camera operation and post-production editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize cameras such as Sony NX100 and Canon 90D to capture high-quality footage for the show
• Edit footage using Premiere Creative Cloud (windows version) to create engaging and professional content
• Demonstrate proficiency in audio production using MOVO Lav and stick Mic, as well as Neewer LED lighting systems
• Collaborate with the field producer and clients, adhering to a business casual dress code

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in television shooting
• Proven track record of producing high-quality video content
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to submit a reel of your best work and perform a camera skills and Editing test during the interview process

Additional Information

• Job Type: Contract
• Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
• Schedule: Day shift, on call
• Work Location: In person
