Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. Your creativity and attention to detail will be crucial in producing high-quality videos.

Responsibilities

• Edit video footage to create engaging and compelling content
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements
• Review raw material to determine shot list
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Capture One, Adobe Bridge, and other video editing software
• Solid knowledge of post-production processes such as color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects
• Familiarity with graphic design principles, typography, and motion graphics
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
• Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya is a plus
