Job Description:
The UX Copywriter will work alongside product owners, designers, and developers to develop personal finance product experiences and supporting content. They will be responsible for creating a world-class app and web experience by providing UX writing and Tone of Voice (ToV) expertise. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, turning complex ideas into clear and compelling copy, working with legal and compliance stakeholders, and refining standards and guidelines through peer review and collective critiquing.
Requirements:
- Experience developing copy for apps and websites
- Strong understanding of UX best practices, micro copy, testing, and iterating journeys
- Ability to turn complex ideas into clear, concise, and compelling copy
- Capability to work independently and collaborate with project stakeholders for asset sign-off
- Comfortable dealing with legal, compliance, and product owners
- Enjoy working with other writers to refine standards and guidelines
- Demonstrable background in writing for digital and UX
- Understanding of branding, TOV, content strategy, and working in an agile environment
- Ability to pitch ideas and explain reasoning
- Experience working directly with stakeholders and managing feedback and challenges
- Experience working in agile product development teams
- Experience editing the work of other writers
- Preferable experience writing copy in a regulated industry or business (experience in Financial Services is a plus)
Additional Information:
- Location: London, Canary Wharf (Hybrid; x2 days onsite)
- Contract: Fixed-Term Contract, 6 months
- Working with the client’s in-house copy team
- Mostly remote work with visits to client offices in Northampton or Canary Wharf 1-2 times a week
