Job Description
The Usability Engineer (UX Designer/UX Engineer) will:
- Conduct user research to understand user needs, mental models, and working context
- Translate market needs and vision into workflows, interactions, and designs for software
- Lead UX requirement definition sessions and design thinking workshops
- Lead UFEMA activities and usability-related documentation
- Conduct Formative and Summative studies
- Work with software engineers in an Agile environment using the latest UX methods
- Have experience with Medical Devices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with UX Design
- Experience in UX Designer, UX Engineer, UFEMA, and Medical Devices
- 6 years of overall experience
- Available for a full-time or contract position
- Onsite work in Chicago, IL
Additional Information
- Job Types: Full-time, Contract
- Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Work Location: In person
