Job Description
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos for various projects and assignments
- Collaborate with clients or art directors to understand their vision and requirements
- Conduct pre-production planning, including location scouting and equipment preparation
- Set up lighting, props, and backgrounds to create the desired atmosphere and composition
- Direct and guide subjects during photoshoots to capture the desired poses and expressions
- Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring high-quality final products
- Manage color consistency and accuracy throughout the editing process
- Assist with video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production tasks
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and equipment advancements
Requirements
- Proficient in using Capture One for photo editing and organization
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom
- Ability to provide art direction to achieve desired visual outcomes
- Familiarity with color management techniques to ensure accurate representation of images
- Excellent photography skills, including composition, lighting, and framing
- Experience in video production using Adobe Premiere or similar software
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content creation
- Strong post-production skills, including retouching, color grading, and image manipulation
Additional Information
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per day
- Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
- Benefits: Health insurance
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities
- License/Certification: Driver’s License (Preferred)
- Ability to Commute: New York, NY 10036 (Required)
