Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the design of complex digital services, ensuring they meet user-centered design processes, UI/UX expertise, and accessibility standards. They will be responsible for creating key design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and reports.

Requirements

The following skills are desirable for the role:

• Familiarity with Axure for creating realistic prototypes
• Knowledge of designing to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards
• Experience in an agile environment
• Experience with designing for government or similar solutions with complex navigation and interactions

Evaluation Criteria

The evaluation criteria for this role include:

• Experience leading the design of complex digital services from concept to production
• Portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design of complex online services
• Expert knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and user-centered design processes
• Experience in developing key design deliverables like user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes
• Proficiency in conducting research, user research, and usability testing
• Designing online services to be accessible by default
• Proficiency with design and prototyping software, digital collaboration, and web conferencing tools
