Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Designer to join the growing Brand and Creative team at University of the Arts London. In this role, you will spearhead design initiatives alongside our Senior Designer and Senior UI Designer, leading a team of Mid-Weight and Junior Designers. You will be responsible for crafting creative responses to various digital and print design projects, ensuring the seamless integration of our brand identity. Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will collaborate with internal and external design resources to enhance the use of our brand in UAL’s design output and contribute to the institution’s brand development efforts.

Requirements

• A strategic designer and excellent communicator with the ability to provide design leadership in a large and complex organization.

• Good understanding of UX/UI/Digital product design principles.

• Significant experience in a similar role within an in-house or agency environment.

• Proven track record of leading successful brand development initiatives and a strong portfolio of commercial design work.

• Experience in designing for digital platforms, communication channels, and liaising with external printers.

• Able to work independently without direct supervision and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

• Capable of motivating and leading a team, setting clear objectives to manage performance.
