Job Description
The Animator (Project Hire) at AGBO is responsible for designing and creating the motion of computer graphics characters. This role involves leading the development of animation assets to support the overall production’s creative vision. Responsibilities include showcasing exceptional skills in facial animation, creating high-quality character animation, managing shot/sequence responsibilities, and collaborating with the Director, Leads, and team members to ensure visual continuity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in feature-style projects or video game cinematics and proficiency in Maya and MotionBuilder. Strong posing and storytelling skills, knowledge of animation pipeline processes, and experience in animating stylized character animation are essential. Additionally, strong communication skills, character performance experience, and the ability to solve technical issues independently are required. A resume and portfolio reel demonstrating relevant animation skills are necessary, with experience in projects using Unreal for animation integration being highly desired.
Other Information
Los Angeles based candidates are preferred, with a hybrid work model being desirable for this position.
