Job Description:

• Participate in design and development of Mainframe batches.
• Participate in design and code reviews, incorporate performance requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow.
• Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines.
• Incorporate corporate architectural standards into application design specifications.
• Identify applicable system platform, components, dependencies, document application specifications.
• Analyze performance issues and provide resolution recommendations.
• Must be very flexible with the ability to react quickly to changing business needs.
• Translate high-level design to detailed technical design and implementation.
• Take ownership of business-critical and complex processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 plus years of experience in Cobol (Any).
• Experience in VSAM, JCL, and DB2 (must have recent experience).
• Proficiency in Agile methodology.
• Hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, MVS Utilities, VSAM, JCL.
• Proficiency in creating views, writing stored procedures, and code tuning in DB2.
• Experience with various products and tools like TOPAZ/IDZ, SORT, SPUFI, PLATINUM, XPEDITER, FILEAID, CHANGEMAN, FTP, and NDM.
• Working experience on Control-M is an advantage.
• Knowledge of enterprise SDLC standard process and management tools like JIRA.
