Job Description

This position involves helping missionaries learn a new language through improvements to the TALL Embark app. Junior Developers will work in a collaborative team with other students, mentored by full-time developers. They will be responsible for developing code for MTC applications with various web/full-stack technologies, implementing solutions based on customer needs, working with UX/UI designers, participating in Agile development teams, and contributing to mobile and web cross-platform development. In addition, they will research and help the team learn and use the latest technologies.

Requirements

Required qualifications for this role include having at least 1 year of programming experience (which can be lab/class experience), working well in a highly productive team, being able to learn new Computer Science principles, designs, and patterns, quickly learning new technologies, having a proactive attitude towards continual learning and improvement in technical skills, and the ability to teach technical skills to others.

Preferred qualifications include having 2 years of relevant programming experience and completing CS200 level classes or equivalent experience.
