Job Description:

• Position: UI/UX Embedded Software Engineer
• Location: Sterling Heights, MI
• Duration: Long Term Contract
• On-site Presence: Hybrid

The UI/UX Embedded Software Engineer will develop complex displays and human-machine interactions, working with systems engineers to create state-of-the-art user interfaces for Military Ground Vehicles. The role may require up to 70% on-site presence.

The engineer will collaborate with UX SMEs, Human Factors specialists, and Scrum team members to design, develop, and test user interface software for military ground vehicles.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (other engineering degrees acceptable with relevant experience)
• Experience: 7-10 years in embedded User Interface Software development using QT/QML, HTML Visual Studio QT Creator, or related platforms. 3-5 years embedded software development with C/C++.
• Skills: Proficiency in English, experience with development tools (Bitbucket, Jira, etc.), serial data communications networks (Ethernet, CAN, etc.), and data acquisition tools (Vector/Canoe, Intrepid NeoVi, etc.)
