A Pianist at Von Maur creates a pleasant shopping environment by performing piano music for customers. Responsibilities include:

• Playing a selection of music on the piano following current guidelines
• Playing customer requests and interacting courteously with customers
• Preparing new music to expand repertoire and varying music styles
• Maintaining the piano by dusting, polishing, and keeping the playing area neat

Requirements:

To be considered for the position of Pianist, candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Ability to play piano with minimal errors, may play from memory, by ear, or read music
• Customer service skills and courteous interaction with patrons
• Flexibility in playing a variety of music styles throughout shifts
• Skills in preparing new music pieces to add to the repertoire
