Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Video Editor to join us on a project-to-project basis. As a key member of our post-production freelance roster, you will play a crucial role in bringing creative visions to life through the art of video editing on a variety of different projects.
*Note, this is not a full-time or part-time gig. Daily rates will be based on experience level and project-specific budget.
Responsibilities:
Editing Expertise: Utilize advanced editing skills to craft compelling and visually stunning videos aligning with project objectives.
Short-form and/or Long-form Skill Set: Demonstrate proficiency in editing various types of content including short-form promotional videos, commercials, and long-form narratives.
Deadline Management: Meet project deadlines consistently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients and team members to understand their vision and provide updates.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional video editing experience with a diverse portfolio.
Equipment: Own a fully equipped editing setup including hardware and software like Premiere Pro.
Internet Connection: Maintain a hard-wired internet connection with specific speed requirements for collaboration and file transfers.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different editing styles, genres, and project requirements.
Portfolio: Provide a comprehensive portfolio showcasing editing skills in short-form and long-form content.
