Job Description
Controlaccount is seeking a WordPress Designer/Developer to join the team responsible for managing the refresh and rebuild of existing websites into WordPress. The role involves developing and maintaining new websites in WordPress, expanding the current portfolio, maintaining plugin updates, and writing clean, well-documented code while following best practices. The individual will work closely with back-end developers, forecast project timelines accurately, propose new ideas to improve site visibility, and have full control over the build process and technologies utilized, including API implementation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in WordPress
- Desirable experience with WooCommerce sites
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, cPanel, and SEO principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quick thinking, personable, and a positive attitude
Salary Range
£25,000.00 - £30,000.00 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
Location
Office Based B60 4FD in Bromsgrove with possible hybrid working options.
