Job Description

• Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites for desktop and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to understand project requirements and business goals
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for client approval
• Ensure website designs are responsive, optimized for performance, and meet industry standards
• Stay up-to-date on design trends, technologies, and best practices
• Work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Provide support to developers during website implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or related field preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED
• Proven experience as a Web Designer or Developer
• Proficiency in graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail and passion for visually appealing designs
• Experience with front-end and back-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
• Proficiency in web development frameworks and CMS platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
• Experience with Shopify and previous work for health and wellness companies is a plus
