Job Description:
As a Lead Front-End Web Developer with UI UX design experience, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of visually stunning and user-friendly websites, web applications, and digital assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
- Translate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into high-quality, responsive designs consistent with brand guidelines and industry best practices.
- Implement user-centric UI UX design principles to optimize user experience, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with back-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative web solutions.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and implement improvements to optimize website performance and user satisfaction.
- Stay current on the latest web development and design trends, tools, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 years of professional experience as a front-end web developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating UI UX design expertise.
- Minimum of 2 years in a lead position.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of UI UX design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with design tools like Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), or Figma.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Retail eCommerce experience is a significant advantage.
Other Information:
Location(s): Pleasanton, CA / Dallas, TX - (Hybrid role – 2 days per week onsite)
Must Have Skills: Portfolio Required, Lead, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js, Sketch/Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Retail eCommerce experience is a huge plus
