Job Description

The Animator role involves creating a wide range of compelling character experiences in games using Sucker Punch’s proprietary tools and engine. Responsibilities include working with motion capture data, creating hand-keyed animations, maintaining communication within and outside the department, and bringing characters to life with context and authenticity.

Requirements

Qualifications for this position include a demo reel or portfolio showcasing animation excellence, understanding of animation principles, ability to take direction, knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology, experience with motion capture data, and cinematic animation production. Strong communication skills and at least 5 years of game animation experience are necessary.

Bonus factors include strong drawing skills, experience with Human IK or similar rigs, camera layout experience, and mocap acting experience.

Additional Information

This position is a contract role that can be done onsite in Bellevue, WA, or remotely in the PST time zone. It is open to individuals eligible to work in the States or Canada within the PST zone.
