Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Umbraco, Vue.js, and WebAPI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software development.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of professional experience in software development OR 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework, Umbraco, Vue.js, and WebAPI.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with source control systems such as DevOps and Git.

Other Information

The position offers a hybrid work structure where the team mostly works from home but meets once a week in the office located in the Riverside area of Jacksonville, FL. Candidates in or out of the local area are considered, with the potential for fully remote work for highly qualified individuals.

The contract for the role will be a minimum of six months, with excellent performance potentially leading to a full-time position at Station Four, a digital agency specializing in websites, custom applications, and marketing services for clients ranging from non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
