Job Description
The UX Designer position in Glasgow is a contract role focusing on accessibility and UX design consultancy. The responsibilities include overseeing WCAG 2.2 and other accessibility standards, conducting accessibility testing and auditing, engaging with external suppliers to improve accessibility performance, managing accessibility assessments and strategic planning, identifying and resolving accessibility issues in digital assets, advising teams on accessibility best practices, and collaborating with accessibility advocates and disabled users for insights.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience and expertise in WCAG 2.2 and accessibility standards, accessibility UX design consultancy, accessibility testing and auditing, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and developing organization-wide accessibility policies and guidelines. They should also be capable of influencing external suppliers and collaborating effectively with various teams to enhance accessibility throughout the product development lifecycle.
