Job Description

Kiarah Portraits is hiring seasonal Photographers for school picture days. Responsibilities include gathering necessary information prior to Picture Day, traveling within a designated territory, setting up equipment and props, taking high-quality photos of children, and ensuring all children are photographed comfortably.

Key requirements include owning a DSLR or similar camera, a drivable vehicle, a valid shipping address for materials, and the ability to upload photos to a secure server after the shoot.

Requirements

Required qualifications include being a minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work Monday through Friday between 7 am and 3 pm. Candidates should have strong computer skills, customer service skills, attention to detail, and a love for working with children.

Additional attributes that will be beneficial in this role are organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, passion for exceeding goals, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, market knowledge, and teamwork skills.

Expected Outcomes

After training, Photographers are expected to conduct photoshoots at client schools following the guidelines provided. The compensation for this role is $45 per hour at the client’s location, with additional benefits like training, materials, and a dynamic work environment.

This is a contract job with a pay rate of $45.00 per hour. Benefits include a flexible schedule. The job requires travel within specified locations such as Chicago, IL, with work locations being on the road.
