Job Description
We are seeking a talented and energetic Female Disc Jockey for a specific event in Los Angeles in April. As a Disc Jockey, you will be responsible for creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Your role will involve playing music, interacting with the audience, and ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and event attendees
- Create playlists and select appropriate music for each event
- Set up and operate DJ equipment (Sound System and Lighting will always be provided)
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing our company
- Interact with the audience, take requests, and make announcements as needed
- Coordinate with event planners and other vendors to ensure seamless execution of events
- Adapt to different music genres and styles to cater to diverse audiences
- Monitor sound levels and adjust as necessary to create the desired atmosphere
- Stay up-to-date with current music trends and popular songs
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Disc Jockey or in a related role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of various music genres and styles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse audiences
- Proficient in using DJ equipment
- Familiarity with local market trends and preferences is a plus
- Public speaking skills to make announcements and engage the audience
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with event planners and vendors
Additional Information
- The pay range for this role is $400-$600 for 4 hours of DJing
- Sound system will be provided, but DJs need to bring their preferred mixer or DJ controller
- This opportunity may lead to working on multiple events with the company in Southern California, San Francisco, and Las Vegas
