Job Description:
FPSG’s client is seeking a Python developer with strong technical skills to join their bespoke team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will work in a squad development environment, influencing the design and architecture of software and applications.
Requirements:
- Current and practical expertise in Python
- Additional skills in Java, C++, or other object-oriented languages
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database development
- Experience in delivering complex enterprise-level systems
- Excellent object-oriented design skills
- Experience with multi-tiers and service-oriented architecture
- Knowledge of RDBMS, NoSQL, and Hadoop
- Understanding of software development life cycle and agile practices
- Experience with TDD/BDD
- Strategic thinking and collaboration skills
