Job Description:
MLB is seeking a social-savvy video editing expert to create video edits for various player social accounts. Responsibilities include producing engaging content for player platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and IG Reels, utilizing relevant trends, and strategizing best approaches for player content based on their personal brands. The individual will create recaps, highlight reels, hype videos, and other content for player socials, work on real-time video edits during game shifts, and collaborate in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Proficient in video editing, preferably using Adobe Creative Suite products
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Deep understanding of social media culture and creating timely content
- Creative and well-versed in short-form video content culture for platforms like TikTok and YouTube
- Organized, communicative, and open to feedback in a professional manner
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Experience working with athlete content is a plus
