Job Description
FilmRise is seeking a temporary part-time Video Editor (3-5 months anticipated) to join their team. The ideal candidate should be reliable, meticulous, and have relevant experience. The anticipated weekly requirement is approximately 25 hours with a compensation rate of $25 - $30/hour.
The role involves editing digital-first video content into broadcast-ready television series. The responsibilities include working with Adobe Premiere Pro, importing clips, assembling episodes, adding graphics packages, compiling metadata, conducting quality checks, and occasional motion design projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience in video editing and be comfortable working with Adobe Premiere Pro. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work to defined specifications are crucial for this role. Experience with motion design projects and graphics packages will be a plus.
