Job Description

Our client in the [industry descriptor] industry is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be part of the [Department Name] supporting [Team Name(s)]. The purpose of this team is to create a platform for developers to incorporate AI into their builds, and the role will involve backfilling overflow work, specifically feature-based UX Design work. You will contribute to Azure AI Studio by planning, analyzing, and creating visual solutions to communication problems, developing layouts for publications or web interfaces, preparing sketches for clients, and creating charts and graphs from data provided.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should have 10+ years of experience in the field, hold an Associate’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and have a background that includes working on enterprise developer/software development design or cloud design. Additionally, proficiency in Adobe publishing and graphic software, visualizing in 2D and 3D, utilizing various forms of media, and creating layouts digitally is required. Candidates should also possess excellent creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving ability. Performance will be evaluated based on the ability to deliver quality design work on time amidst ambiguity.

Other Information

The pay range for this remote position is $60-$67/hour (negotiable). Candidates with prior experience at MSFT or expertise in enterprise software, developer platform design, or UX systems design are preferred. The hard skills assessment process will include a 30-minute introductory assessment followed by a 1-hour portfolio review for qualified candidates.
