Job Description

• MarathonFoto is seeking freelance photographers for the Boston Marathon on April 15th to take portrait photos of runners with their medals or action photos of runners on the course.
• Portrait photographers must be dynamic and outgoing, while action photographers need experience in sports photography.
• No selling or post-production editing is required, and clear guidelines will be provided.
• Pay is $30 per hour with the possibility of an increase based on the quality and number of runners photographed.
• Estimated time is 11:00 am - 6:00 pm, and it is a freelance, event-based position with potential to work multiple events.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and equipment for photography to capture high-quality images during the event.
• Must be able to stand, move quickly, and work outdoors for the duration of the event.
• Ability to work efficiently, make decisions quickly, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, punctual, and have reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the USA.

Other Information

• Media like SD/CF/XQD cards are provided, and a team leader will assist during the event.
• Application requires a resume with photography experience and a paragraph explaining why you are a good fit for the role.
